How to use it?
Step 1: Choose the correct one.
If you have not already bought it, we suggest you to put some thought into what kind of a machine you need. Currently, there are 3 kinds available; corded, air powered, and cordless.
If you have to use one professionally, an air wrench is the best as it generates the greatest amount of torque and is the fastest. While the other two would be more useful for infrequent tasks at home. The cordless ones are the most popular these days, due to their easy use and increased mobility.
Step 2: Connect the socket
Connect the socket of the size of the tool you are using. Make sure to fasten it properly, otherwise, it will come off while using the wrench, and can cause accidents.
Step 3: Turn it on
Connect it to a power supply if it is a corded wrench, or insert batteries if it is battery operated. Press the power button to switch on the tool.
Step 4: Set the mode
If you are losing lug nuts, firstly you have to set it on the forward mode. This will generate the torque in the direction required to loosen the nuts.
If you want to use tighten the lug nuts, then you will have to change the mode to reverse to use the tool. However, first put the lug nuts in their place using your hands, manually give them a few turns, then use your tool to tighten the lug nuts.
Step 5: Press the push button
Most impact wrenches come with a push button. You have to press this to start the machine.
Step 6: Turn it off
Do not leave the machine hanging there if you are done with your work. Make sure to switch off the power button, especially before disconnecting it from the socket, or taking it off the electric supply.
Whether you are an expert car mechanic or simply someone trying to build a project at home, it is essential to follow the following guidelines to ensure your maximum safety:
